So the locksmith just came out and re-keyed the dead lock on my front door.  I’m a bit concerned because the rim of the lock is a different colour now and I think that it should have been left with the old one which matches the door furniture on the other apartments in my block.  Never mind.  I’ll see what they say, if they say anything.

I’m also STILL waiting on the plumber to give me a quote on having the washing machine plumbed into the bathroom, and the oven needs to be replaced and so does the stove top.  If I have to go to all that trouble, maybe I should just get the kitchen re-done now instead of waiting for another six months or so.  I’ll have to sit down and work out my budget and see what I can pay someone to do and what I can do myself.

One of my friends has offered to help with tiling - she has done it herself so many times she’s a bit of a DIY expert now.

I also want to put in a shower screen.  There is just a curtain now and I don’t like them.  They flap around, stick to me and water still gets on the floor.  V annoying.
